How to use the cutting planner
- Enter the width and height of the main sheet in millimetres.
- Enter the width and length of the piece to be cut.
- Enter the saw blade thickness (kerf) and, if any, the edge trim allowance.
- If there is no pattern or direction requirement, allow 90° rotation; the tool picks the layout that yields the most pieces.
The result shows the number of pieces, the yield and waste rates, usable offcut strips, a step-by-step guillotine cutting sequence and the coordinates of every piece. You can save the plan as an image, CSV or PDF.
